Madeleine Altmann, Walk on Ice, Video (2015)
Madeleine Altmann
Private Viewing (only by invitation)

July 23  - 23, 2015

Altmann’s video installations focus on the beauty of nature and take you along her path through mesmerizing landscapes. The artist travels at a pace slow enough for thoughts to breathe so that walking becomes a means of traversing the landscape of the mind. With painterly flowing imagery, Altmann goes beneath the surface to reveal new perspectives of the familiar and surreal. Her influences can be traced in the history of art to the Hudson River School and Impressionism.
